Engagements
Consulting
engagements best serve companies where one or more
of the following apply:
- The
company has respectable revenue but low profitability.
- The
company has grown significantly beyond the infrastructure and management
capability, and the old "mom-and-pop" business model is no longer appropriate.
- The
company must start operations with a clearly defined structure and a
clear path to profitability.
- The
owners and top managers spend too much time working "in" the business
rather than "on" the business.
- The
company has experienced documented success and now the owners want to
replicate an efficient model for franchising and training.
We
are Management Engineers. We develop, design, and install management systems,
procedures and controls with the precise mix that will have the greatest
impact on your business. Generally, the purpose of each system, procedure,
or control measure installed is to increase the company's productivity,
efficiency, growth, and profitability.
CEO Services
Group does not provide generic templates or "boilerplate" information
that can be purchased at your local bookstore. Each consultation engagement
is 100% customized for each client and is tailored to meet or exceed the
clients' needs and objective(s).
The process
starts with an in-depth interview with the ownership and a thorough assessment
of the business organization and activities . One of our Sr. Operations
Analysts will visit your business for one full day. During this process,
the short and long-term goals and objectives of the company are defined.
Employee interviews and analysis of the company's financial statements
are involved. This assessment determines the management "leaks", as well
as examples of the controls, the systems, and the procedures that address
those leaks.
Based on
that assessment, CEO Services Group will identify and dispatch the Project
Manager and Business Consultant(s) that possess the requisite knowledge
and experience to address the issues identified in the assessment. On
the second day, the Project Manager details the specific measures to permanently
fix the assessment issues, presented to the company in the form of a Engagement
Plan, which details the specific action points to be implemented
and the intended results of such implementation. Some businesses need
financial systems and controls, while others may need organizational development
or sales & marketing strategies.
The CEO Services
Group Business Consultant then implements the action points outlined in
the Engagement Plan. For some action points may require the development
of systems and procedures, while other may require a customized spreadsheet
to manage the company's finances. After the procedures or controls are
developed, CEO Services Group
then implements the procedures and controls by training the manager(s)
that will have primary responsibility. This insures that the company is
able to make benefit of the procedures and controls well into the future
without remaining dependent on outside consultation.
Every step
of the way, the Business Consultant(s) will keep the client(s) fully involved
and informed, and the client retains control of the project as agreed.
The process
starts with the Online Questionnaire below.
